This just reminds me of Scientology. You play a money game and all that happens is you lose money! Har har.
We made a little headway in Zelda 1 after some technical difficulties. After having to go out to eat with a friend who's in town, we went over to our friend Ash's house to use his top loading NES. No worries about a bad 72pin connector on this bad boy. The only drawback is it has no composite cable slots, only an RF Switch, but that's workable.
So, after all these set backs we made it through the first 4 dungeons of LoZ for the NES. Game is way harder than I remember it being, and I have a feeling it's going to feel like a godsend when we get past the NES and start up A Link to the Past.
Also, as addendum, our friend Spencer is joining in on this epic foray into the Zelda series. I didn't think he would originally be a part of it, so his name isn't in the title of the blog, but for the future consider this is a quadforce.
