James' Adventure of Link thoughts

(WHO WOULD IMMEDIATELY WANT TO PLAY THIS AGAIN)

The game is mercilessly hard. Way harder than Legend of Zelda 1. Far more unforgiving as well. The last leg of the journey through the Valley of Death was insanely difficult; there were no item or fairy spawns anywhere.

The final temple was no where near as hard as the journey getting there though, and all in all nothing was so hard that it made me want to quit playing save for Valley of Death part. The game shows a little bit of humanity with the last dungeon since you spawn at the beginning of the dungeon rather than back at Zelda's palace. The thunderbird boss was somewhat challenging, but the final boss, Dark Link, was easily exploitable as seen in the video posted earlier.

All in all, it's a pretty good game, as much as we bitched about it. It's obviously the black sheep of the series, and it's frustrating as hell in some parts, but it definitely felt like an accomplishment finishing it. You don't really get that feeling from many modern games.
