Nobody signed up for fucking Gleeoks!
(Also this is a some balls)
This was what I spouted in pure anger when I remembered the boss for the 7th dungeon was a fucking Gleeok. I'm sure anyone reading remembers my seething hatred for these multiheaded dragons in the original Legend of Zelda, and it's still a fucking menace.
This is the first time I've finished a linked Oracle game, and I have to say Ganon and Twinrova are really, really underwhelming bosses compared to Onyx and Veran. Or at least they're far too easy compared to the games end bosses.
As for Seasons itself it's a far more entertaining game than Ages. It's more combat oriented and less annoying puzzle oriented. There's also no fucking mermaid tale, so that's a plus. A really well done game all things considered. Changing seasons is far less tedious than changing time, and the effects on the map are cooler as well. The Subrosians are also pretty awesome.

Oracle of Ages
Zelda Oracle of Ages.
Not much to say about this game, it was actually very enjoyable,..
However the ending of the game made me feel very upset due to the Final bosses difficulty.
James and I actually had to do the sidequest to obtain the Level 2 sword just be a formidable opponent against her on her Final 3rd Phase.

Worst Zelda Game?

I never thought I'd consider a game to be worse than Zelda 2, but playing through Ages has been the least fun I've had this entire Zeldathon experience. There's just something about this game's dungeons that isn't fun. The boss battles are okay (except for the last boss), but the puzzles in the dungeons are just so tedious. The changing time element is also farm more tedious than I remember Seasons' being.
The mermaid suit is also a total deal breaker. Who ever thought it would be a good idea to have to tap the D-Pad over and over to move can go straight to fucking hell.
The pinnacle of this shitfest is the final boss, though. Veran is mercilessly hard. A three form boss with no fucking down time in between the forms, and in the second phase she moves in a totally random way. Fuck that.
Overall it's still a Zelda game, so it's not inherently terrible. The basic mechanics of the game are still fun, but it's by far the worst official Zelda game I've ever played.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!
Don't Stop Me Now

Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world it's turning inside out Yeah!
I'm floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time having a good time
I'm a shooting star leaping through the skies
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go go go
There's no stopping me
This is really how I feel about this series right now because getting past my favorite in the series I just can't stop now.

Majora's Mask. Best 3D Game in the series.

I adore this game. The setting, the story, the emotion, everything about it is perfection. It takes the gameplay set up by Ocarina of Time and perfects it. The mask system is one of the most inventive and original ideas in any Zelda game. The transformations are all fun to use (especially swimming as Zora Link) and the utility of some of the masks, for example the Bunny Hood, are extremely useful.
The story is the main driving part of this game though, and it's the only time the story in a Zelda game has really been something special. Instead of saving a princess from an evil king, the player is tasked with saving a place from being destroyed in three days. You are faced with saving a group of people who, at this point, have already come to terms with the fact they will probably die. Some of the scenes in this game are truly heart wrenching (Kafei and Anju being reunited and deciding to ride out the moon falling together, and thus die together is one of the most moving things in any video game ever.)
Onward to the Oracle games. :D
